It is ScratchViews' goal to respect its users' privacy. The website aims to offer the same standard of privacy of the Scratch website or higher. This is why ScratchViews does not have any ads, any cookies or sell any data. Every data collected by ScratchViews is required for a website functionality or is essential for the website to work properly. Cloudflare

Cloudflare is ScratchViews' domain provider. ScratchViews uses Cloudflare to serve its content to you, to prevent cyberattacks and to receive general traffic analytics that can not be used to identify anyone. Therefore, Cloudflare need to process technical data such as IP addresses in accordance to their privacy standard and this data will not be used by ScratchViews. Profile pictures and thumbnails

On ScratchViews, project thumbnails and profile pictures are requested directly to Scratch's CDN. Therefore, it is possible that scratch.mit.edu collects some data when you use ScratchViews. Click here for more details on Scratch's privacy policy

Donations

ScratchViews does not have a login feature, so it does not store any email adress or passwords for regular users, but for donations to be possible, donors will have to provide an email address on kofi.com which is the website used to handle donations.

As a way to thank donors for the support and for contributing to making ScratchViews possible, donors will receive a "ScratchViews Supporter" badge that will appear on their ScratchViews user page. To make this possible, after the donation has been completed, kofi.com will send the email address used for the donation to ScratchViews, which will, in turn, automatically send an email to the donor, thanking them for the donation and giving them a text key which can be used to unlock the badge on this page. The automatic email is sent via SMTP2GO, am email service provider.
